February is National Dental Health Month for Cats

Oral hygiene, or a "healthy mouth", is one of the most overlooked areas of health problems in cats.

In honor of Dental Health Month, The Cat Practice is offering a 15% discount on all dental services for the month of February!

Cats feel pain in their mouths and they suffer from almost all the diseases of the mouth that we do. They develop cavities, receding gums, broken crowns, and lots of tartar on their teeth.

Not sure if your cat needs a dental cleaning?
Answer the following questions:

  • Does your cat's breath smell like shrimp?
  • Does your cat chew on only one side of his/her mouth?
  • Is your cat a sloppy eater, flinging food around the floor by his/her food bowl?
  • Does you cat run to the food bowl when you put it down, only to refuse to eat?
  • Does your cat now prefer soft food to the hard kibble he/she used to eat?
These are all signs of oral pain.
If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, it is time to bring in your cat for a dental cleaning.

Make an appointment today!
Your cat will thank you for giving him or her back a purrfect smile.
